Piano in a Public Square

Newton’s Artful Piano Project is a public art program bringing vibrant and creatively painted pianos to parks and public spaces throughout the City. The goal of this project is to create an interactive experience for the public to connect with their creativity and each other. Pianos act as a centerpiece of music, community, and art during the summer. After we were selected from a pool of applicants, we decided to cover our piano with black and white rhythmic designs to echo the white and black piano keys. (funded by Newton Community Pride)
